Everyone knocked down in the jump-off - But Carl-Walter Fox was the fastest
The prize pot was 100,000 SEK when the final of the 7-Stars took place on the international arena during the Falsterbo Horse Show. The excitement lasted until the very last rider, who ultimately claimed the title of winner.
7 Star takes him to five-star: "Means a lot"
The victory with the big prize check and trophy, for all its glory – but the fact that Carl-Walter Fox now gets to ride in the five-star international classes in Falsterbo later this week means more. “I have fought for this for so long,” says Carl-Walter Fox after winning the 7 Star final on Sunday.
The beginning of something new
Sometimes, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Two new operations have taken off at Borelund Farm. Now the couple Stephanie Holmén and Carl-Walter Fox are working with Linn Bödmar. “We make a strong team,” believes the newly committed trio.
Stephanie Holmén "Horses establish poor flying changes as easily as correct ones"
A well-functioning and regular basic training can provide a great advantage for the aspiring show jumper. To achieve this, one needs a good starting point in their training. Here, Stephanie Holmén provides valuable tips for both basic training and learning changes.
Different setup for the first winner of the year
Carl-Walter Fox was the first rider to lead a victory lap at this year’s competitions at Stockholm Stadion. He did it on the “wild horse” Camaro CB, a horse he had long declined to ride.
Stephanie Holmén: "Now all the pieces are falling into place"
Stephanie Holmén will run her own business at Borelund Farm in Torna Hällestad, where her partner Carl-Walter Fox is also active. In the stable, there will be, among other things, a promising horse from Annika Axelsson.
"Together, we can build something great"
Jacob Hellström and Sara Hellström Molvidson have sold Borelund Farm, which they have been running for 12 years. The buyer is e-commerce entrepreneur Jörgen Bödmar and his family. Now, they are making a major investment together with competitive rider Carl-Walter Fox.
