About Borelund Stables
Borelund Stables is nestled in the countryside of southern Sweden, right outside Lund. Our vision at the farm is to consistently deliver quality and create a nurturing environment where horses can thrive and achieve their maximum potential.
The story
From the moment we started our family, it’s been clear that we’re absolutely obsessed with horses. Our daughter, Linn, has been riding horses since she was just four years old. To us, it felt like she was practically born ready to ride! Ever since, our lives have been filled with everything horse-related. As parents who were initially clueless about horses, we had to quickly learn and understand this passion of hers.
Linn’s love for horses only grew stronger as she got older. She even took her passion to the next level by studying Equine Science at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. She’s now ready to take on the business world of equestrianism.
Our family has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, dabbling in various ventures, but nothing related to horses until recently. In 2022, an amazing opportunity came our way to buy Borelund Farm, located in the beautiful Torna Hällestad, close to Lund in southern Sweden. It’s the perfect place for us to immerse ourselves even more in our love for horses.
At Borelund Stables, we’re creating something truly special. We’re dedicated to quality in every aspect of our work, from the care and love we give to the horses to the more practical aspects of running a farm. Our aim is to build an incredible business while having a great time doing it. We’re excited to collaborate with some of the best professionals in the industry and achieve the ambitious goals we’ve set for our venture.
Efficiency and Quality
At Borelund Stables, we’re nurturing our business alongside two esteemed competition stables, LIMO Stables and Holmén Showjumping. Our goal is to foster the ideal conditions for both stables to develop their operations and produce top-tier competition horses.
Linn Bödmar, Stable Manager at LIMO Stables, has been passionate about horses since childhood and holds B.Sc in Equine Science from Flyinge School. She combines her comprehensive equine knowledge with a hands-on approach to managing the stable. Alongside her, Carl-Walter Fox, a national-level show jumper with a wealth of experience, serves as a rider and trainer. His expertise, honed under the guidance of renowned rider Rolf Göran Bengtsson and through his own entrepreneurial ventures, is invaluable in scouting and developing equestrian talents at LIMO Stables.
Holmén Showjumping is led by Stephanie Holmén, an accomplished show jumper with a rich history of national accolades and World Cup victories. Stephanie’s journey in the equestrian world, including her extensive experience at Grevlunda with Lisen and Peder Fredricsson, shapes her visionary leadership. She is committed to cultivating a new generation of champions, bringing her passion and expertise to the forefront of Holmén Showjumping.
In this partnership, we focus on providing the finest equipment, efficient methodologies, and innovative solutions to maximize effectiveness. From streamlining work processes to adopting creative approaches, our goal is to ensure excellence in every facet of our operation.
